NOTES ON THE ARTISTIC PATH
I started painting at the age of 19 as a self-taught person, this need arose when I was working in a factory, I
used painting as a healing medicine, it had the ability to free me from that sense of oppression that heavy
and repetitive work transmitted. In fact, I painted exclusively for myself, I didn’t do it to show it to others, I
didn’t care, it was like that for several years.
Then when I passed this very introspective phase I started advertising my works, and I met professionals
who helped me in this.
My tendency was to paint scrap, electrical cables, mechanical parts and things like that, all of these objects
were decontextualized to form surreal images that I thought were interesting.
Over time the electric cables took over, they strongly attracted me, there was the idea of shaping the
shapes at my pleasure or according to my mood, they gave me a sense of well-being, still today I believe
that painting electric cables gives me this feeling, for some years I have inserted other subjects in this
world of wires, such as clowns, balls and various animals.
