Adi Lasri was born in Israel in 1978, she has a master’s degree in communications studied, film and television studies in Tel Aviv (2003), and has a teaching certificate for film and television communication studies (2002).

In May 2018, Adi founded the `World Virtual Museum` in memory of Holocaust survivor Mrs. Elsa Langer (1933-2018) in order to support art and artists from around the world and allow them to be exposed and reach the general public.

The `World Virtual Museum` is an online institution that gives a free platform to artists from around the world to present their works of art to the general public, hosting virtual and 3D exhibitions – all this on a completely voluntary basis.

The dynamic of the `World Virtual Museum`, makes it capable of responding to developments and changes in the art world in the modern era.

Currently, more than 10,000 artists from all over the world are members of the `World Virtual Museum`, and their artworks has been viewed online by millions of people from around the world.

The award, presented by Adi Lasri, is the World Virtual Museum Achievement Award, which was founded in May 2018 in memory of Holocaust survivor Elsa Langer (1933-2018). This is where judge Adi Lasri is currently the director.

Recipients of the award include Yoo Cheon-eop, director of the Haegeumgang Theme Museum, where the ‘9th Geoje International Art Festival’ was held, Lee Ik-gyu, CEO of the Seojimal Scholarship Association, who gave a lot of help to the festival, National Assemblyman Seo Il-jun, and Gyeongnam Future Development Institute Chairman Kim Hae-yeon. .

Meanwhile, the Haegeumgang Theme Museum said that the Korean tour (Busan, Gwangju, Geoje, Jeongeup, Yeosu) of artists participating in the ‘9th Geoje International Art Festival’ held from the 3rd to the 11th was completed successfully without any safety accidents.

The ‘9th Geoje International Art Festival’ will be held from October 1 to November 25 in Halls 1-5 of the Yukyung Art Museum on the second floor of the Haegeumgang Theme Museum.

This festival is the largest ever with the participation of 347 artists from 56 countries around the world. Spanish painter and artistic director Gloria Grau Ruiz served as the head of the jury for this international exhibition, and 14 other multinational artists participated. The exhibition showcases works selected by judges based on strict criteria.
